The AIF Library


The Arab Image Foundation Library and Documentation Centre in Beirut is open to everyone for reference use. It holds over 2,300 books, journals and documents related to photography, art, and the MENA region.
The library is an essential resource for anyone with an interest in photography and visual culture.

-Browse monographs, catalogues, artist and photo books, scholarly works, essays and journals spanning photography, art, art theory, regional history, and preservation.
-Discover a video library curated by AIF members and invited contributors.
-Dive into the AIF collection by looking through thousands of reproductions after photographs, housed in binders.
-Access documentary resources related to the AIF's work and regional artistic practices.
-Search the full catalogue of the AIF collection, including records not displayed online.
A consultation space is available, limited to 3 visitors at a time.
